Jess Barnard, elected on the left slate to one of the CLP positions on Labour’s National Executive but then suspended, has been reinstated.
It is late for her to get the necessary nominations to stand for the NEC, but CLPs which have not yet nominated should back her.
Momentum said: “It is imperative that Jess is now reelected to the NEC so she can continue being an unabashed socialist, anti-war voice and advocate for members’ democracy.”
There are nine CLP seats on the NEC, so CLPs can back both the six candidates proposed by Reset Labour and Jess Barnard.
